Groups and coaches both have a "home base" of operations. Soccer-1 uses a pin on a map to help the user set that location, then uses that location to derive city, state/province, and country information to show other users. Groups and coaches can search for each other using that latitude and longitude set by that pin.
When setting the pin, you have the option of hitting the locate button on the map. If you agree to let Soccer-1 find your location, then the map will zoom in to your location (using the geo-location from your browser or your mobile device).
But if you're a player, we'll also use that geo-location to display the weather for where you are. This can help you plan your workouts (the technical workouts are outdoors!) and, in a coming feature, allow Soccer-1 to guide your rest periods and hydration requirements.
If you opt to not allow Soccer-1 to use geo-location, then you won't see the weather reports, and we'll stop asking.
